- Description
- This role will give you exposure to a range of different software and systems within high value industrial imaging equipment. The other engineers in this team are currently working full time from home but you will need to live within a reasonable distance of the office in Hemel Hempstead should you need to call in. During your initial 13 weeks, it's expected you will be office based while you familiarise yourself with the products.
The work will range from low level kernel drivers in C, motor control and C++ applications such control services and Image Processing engines on custom Linux builds (Ubuntu, CentOS and Debian).
The company are very well established, are undergoing some exciting partnerships which is creating growth and lots of development work.
Embedded Software Engineer skills required:
- 4+ years Embedded C
- Some Linux
- C++ preferable
Desirable experience - Device Drivers, bare metal for DSP, ARM, BeagleBone, strong OO principles, Ubuntu, CentOS, Debian, GNU, CORBA
