- Description
- Electronics Engineer
This growing team is looking to bring on three Electronics Design Engineers to tackle an exciting pipeline of new projects, based at a brand-new, state-of-the-art design and manufacturing facility.
The role will be predominately fresh, interesting development work, with some shorter-term production related tasks required from time to time. Typical work includes designing mostly digital boards using STM32 microcontrollers and creating clean PCB layouts, but there’s also some analogue design involved — for example, working on power supply circuits and other mixed-signal elements.
What’s needed:
- A degree in Electronics (or equivalent practical experience)
- Around 3-5 years’+ experience in a similar design environment (flexible for the right person)
- Strong background in analogue/digital circuit design, PCB design, and schematic capture
- Ability to produce clear technical documentation and handle change control
- Some exposure to production support and obsolescence redesign
- Basic understanding of embedded software is a bonus (not essential)
With plans to develop a new platform and rethink how medical technology can adapt and evolve over time, this is a chance to work on meaningful, innovative design work — without being stuck in repetitive small alterations. Expect variety and plenty of scope to bring ideas to life alongside like-minded engineers.
