Description
PCB Design Engineer required to work on a range of interesting and varied projects where no 2 days and no 2 PCBs are the same.  The company are looking for someone who can take ownership of PCB design and expand the companies’ capabilities.  They currently use Altium, but if you think there is a better tool out there – they want to hear from you.

The business has a very flexible approach to working – 37 hours across 4 days, paid overtime, hybrid working, flexible hours.  The benefits package is good too – 25 days holiday, bonus, subsidised restaurant (£2.75 for a main meal), private medical, pension matched to 8% and more.

In 2024, the successful PCB Design engineer for this post will work exclusively on new designs as they currently undertaking a refresh of some key products.

For ambitious applicants, there is a clear promotion path to Principal level and beyond.

Interview process = 30 min zoom call followed by 1 face to face.

  • At least 3 years of full time PCB design work.
 PCB Design Engineer desirable skills
  • Altium
  • Multi-layer PCB design
  • Issues around Thermal, RF, Comms
  • Design to BS8888 standards
