Description
Head of Program Management

Leading large-scale New Product Introduction projects, you will play a key role in the delivery of pivotal large-scale projects across the business.

As part of the senior leadership team, you will manage large product development projects working with complex high-tech products. You will be based out of a facility where all design and manufacturing are done on-site, so you will work closely with internal teams of engineers in the UK and abroad.

You will have the backing of a global brand where UK operations are of a size where you can make a real difference without some of the red tape associated with larger businesses. Although the role will be diverse, your primary focus will be to efficiently lead large-scale projects on time and to budget across the business.

You will lead a small team of Programme and Project Managers, collaborating with teams of technical engineers and customers on a global scale. This requires the type of leader who can gain the respect of engineers with a strong technical knowledge and guide them on a journey while implementing long-term improvements and milestones for the business.

We are looking for a driven individual who is motivated by delivering excellence but also has the ambition to keep progressing their career into more senior strategic leadership roles within this expanding organization. The type of engineer who will have a relentless attitude towards success in an environment where creativity and innovation are encouraged.

For this role, we are looking for:

A degree in and engineering or scientific related discipline.

A proven background in programme management leadership, working in a technical industry with cross-functional engineers.

Personality and ambition will be key – someone who wants to make a real difference.

A degree or formal engineering qualification.

A project management certification (PRINCE2) with a strong background in implementing and driving forward project management frameworks.
