Obsolescence Manager


We are offering an exciting opportunity to shape the future of an expanding high-tech engineering business. In this role, you will establish processes that will be vital for years to come. As a key part of the company's plan to double its turnover, you will lead a small team responsible for managing obsolescence in complex electronic products used across a variety of industries.


This is a new, dedicated position within the company, which reflects the increased investment and growing product range. The Obsolescence Department will play a central role in future growth. You will have the autonomy to implement an obsolescence framework that spans the entire design and manufacturing facility.


They offer a flexible hybrid work model, allowing you to work 3 days in the office and 2 days from home, along with excellent benefits and significant opportunities for career progression.


Requirements:

  • Strong experience working with cross-functional engineering projects, ideally with a focus on electronics.
  • In-depth knowledge of engineering development processes, from requirements capture and qualification testing to product release.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead a team and implement business-wide processes.
