This unique role offers the opportunity to shape the future of Supply Chain and Operations within an expanding high-tech engineering organisation. As a key member of the senior leadership team, you will drive change and deliver improvements on a global scale.
The company has over 100 years of history in producing world-class technical products in a niche but lucrative field. With a workforce of 400 and multiple sites worldwide, this is a chance to make a significant impact. Working closely with the Managing Director, you will have the autonomy to implement changes across supply chain and operations, without being held back by the red tape often found in larger engineering businesses.
With a large team spread across multiple sites, and recent changes within the organisation, you will need to provide clear guidance and expertise. Your leadership will foster a culture of collaboration and empowerment to bring out the best in a talented team. You will also have the freedom to recruit additional staff as needed to support the long-term strategy that you will create for the department.
Key areas of responsibility include:
- Supply chain strategy and management
- Procurement and supplier management
- Inventory planning and management
- Logistics and distribution
- Sales order processing and coordination
- Supplier quality control and compliance
We are looking for:
- Proven experience leading supply chain functions within a global business
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-tech engineering environment, with technical product knowledge
- The ability to transform and inspire teams across supply chain and operations
- A commercial focus and strong analytical skills
- Someone with senior leadership experience or a candidate ready to take the next step in their career
