- Description
- Transformational Manager – Engineering & Operations
Are you ready to take a thriving hi-tech engineering company to the next level? This is your chance to play a key role in driving transformational excellence and strategic improvements across a fast-growing business.
The company has doubled in size and is on track to more than double its revenue—so they need an experienced leader to enhance efficiency, streamline processes, and build a culture of growth.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll work across design, manufacturing, and operations, collaborating with cross-functional teams to foster continuous improvement and innovation. The goal is to make the business more agile, customer-focused, and sustainable.
We’re not looking for someone who wants to rip things up and start again. Instead, we need a thoughtful, empathetic leader who can see the bigger picture and take this talented team on a journey toward operational excellence.
Key areas you’ll oversee
- Operational excellence – Implementing robust processes to deliver high-quality engineering products.
- Team development – Leading, motivating, and mentoring teams to create a high-performance culture.
- Stakeholder engagement – Working closely with suppliers, clients, and senior management.
- Risk management & compliance – Identifying potential risks in operational changes and developing strategies to mitigate them.
You’ll be working alongside the MD and General Manager, driving these initiatives forward.
What we’re looking for
- A degree in engineering, operations, manufacturing, or a related field.
- A strong background in engineering and manufacturing, with a proven track record in driving and managing operational transformation.
- Lean Six Sigma and process improvement expertise.
This is an 18-month fixed-term contract, but there’s a strong chance it could become permanent.
