What’s expected of you?
Joining a small specialist team, your role is critical to the effective coordination and oversight of all shipping activities, ensuring customer orders are fulfilled correctly, dispatched on time and delivered. You must maintain compliance with international regulations and company standards. You will cover 4 key areas: shipping coordination, efficiency, lean CI and quality, following these 4 KPI’s:- Effective On-time delivery
- Document compliance
- Freight cost control
- Customer satisfaction
- 2/3 years’ experience within shipping, import& export ideally within a manufacturing or export focussed business
- Understanding of international shipping and customs regulations
- Proficient with IT systems, shipping software and ERP systems
