Would you like to develop the worlds fastest cameras? These products capture over a billion frames per second using state of the art sensors interfacing with high-speed FPGAs.
This is a small, very successful company developing high value, low volume products primarily for research establishments across the world.
This position will suit an experienced Electronic Design Engineer with a knack for innovation (they have won a number of awards) and over 10 years of broad experience. You will lead the design and development of cutting-edge electronic hardware and systems, taking them from concept to manufacturing.
It’s a varied role with elements of digital design, analogue, FPGA, high voltage power, architectural design and systems level specification. Once up to speed, you will lead the work or 2 other electronics engineers, a Physicist and Mechanical Engineer.
Lead Electronics Engineer essential skills:- Extensive digital electronic design, including with FPGAs (Xilinx preferred)
- PCB layout
- Solid knowledge of design for EMC
- Solid analog electronic understanding
Lead Electronics Engineer useful skills:
- Cameras or Optics
- High voltage circuits
- Proficiency in interpreting mechanical drawings
