Description

We're looking for a seasoned Technical Business Analyst to enhance customer engagement and oversee project execution for cloud-connected hardware-based mobile data systems. Your role will involve comprehending customer needs, converting them into technical specs, and working with internal teams to provide cloud-integrated solutions. Strong communication skills, a solid technical foundation, and project management capabilities are essential for this position.

Customer Engagement

   - Understand customer needs and technical requirements through meetings and workshops.
   - Translate customer feedback and requirements into actionable product specifications.
   - Maintain a customer-focused approach to problem-solving and communication.

Requirements Gathering and Analysis


   - Collaborate with customers to gather detailed business and technical requirements for hardware, software and cloud integration.
   - Analyze customer needs and technical challenges to identify opportunities for optimization and innovation.
   - Create clear and detailed business requirement documents (BRDs) and functional specifications.

Solution Design and Specification

   - Define technical specifications and solutions that meet customer needs, ensuring compatibility between hardware, mobile data systems and cloud platforms.
   - Collaborate with internal software teams to design and implement solutions that integrate with the mobile data system and cloud infrastructure.
   - Work closely with hardware teams to ensure seamless integration of hardware components.

Project Management


   - Lead and manage projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the satisfaction of customers.
   - Develop project plans, timelines, and milestones, while tracking progress and making adjustments as necessary.
   - Coordinate cross-functional teams (software, hardware, and product) to deliver project outcomes.
   - Manage customer expectations throughout the project lifecycle, providing updates and addressing issues promptly.

Technical Business Analyst qualifications and Skills

  • At least 3 years of experience in a technical business analyst role, preferably in a hardware/software/cloud environment.
  • Understanding of software, cloud platforms and hardware.
  • Project Management skills
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business requirements.

Desirable skills - Experience with APIs, data communication protocols, and IoT systems is a plus.
