Description
This company's culture is built on the belief that making mistakes is a sign of progress. They encourage their team to push boundaries and try new things. With a relaxed, supportive environment, everyone’s opinion matters, and collaboration is key. It’s a place where ideas are valued and growth is nurtured, creating a culture that’s both challenging and rewarding.

As a key technical interface, you will connect customers with our high-tech engineering products, leveraging your expertise to provide customised solutions for a worldwide client base.

Join a technology-driven company specialising in developing and distributing high-performance electronic components, particularly within power switching and control applications. They are known for their expertise in customised solutions that address complex technical challenges, such as electrified vehicles and energy storage.

As a Field Applications Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering engineering excellence with a focus on relays and high-power contactors. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and customers to understand their specific technical needs and develop tailored, often customised solutions using their product range.

A degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering is preferred, as this role demands a strong technical foundation in electricity, thermals, and product design. Nonetheless, we will also consider candidates with a degree in another relevant engineering field. In this position, you will work closely with customers, so it is essential to have significant experience and in-depth knowledge of contractors and relays.

The successful candidate will possess several years of practical industry experience with contactors and relays in a related field, demonstrating a proactive approach to customer interaction in a fast-paced environment.

The position follows a hybrid work model, requiring three days per week in the office and two days per week working from home. You will undergo a structured training program to gain a thorough understanding of the company and our products before progressing to customer meetings and project leadership.

This role is looking for:
  • A degree in Electronic/Electrical Engineering or an equivalent qualification within this field.
  • Experience delivering technical solutions for a wide range of customers.
  • Several years of experience within a relevant industry.
  • Experience working with contactors and relays.
Key benefits:
  • 26 days of annual leave, excluding bank holidays.
  • Discretionary bonus
  • Hybrid working
