The Role
This is a unique opportunity to lead the technical publications function within a high-tech engineering company with a global presence. The company’s technical manuals have been in use for over 20 years and hold a strong legacy worldwide.
As the leader of this function, you’ll have the chance to modernise and reshape documentation processes, ensuring they continue to meet the evolving needs of engineers and customers.
While 80% of manuals are already in place, your expertise will be instrumental in problem-solving, process improvement, and driving efficiency across the business. You’ll work closely with engineers and senior leaders to enhance content quality and create a lasting impact on a large, innovative organisation.
Leadership experience is not essential, as comprehensive training will be provided. What is essential, however, is a personable demeanour and the charisma to drive new ideas forward.
What We’re Looking For:- A Degree/Qualification in Engineering or a relevant discipline.
- A strong leader with a problem-solving mindset and experience in a managerial or senior technical writing role.
- A background in technical documentation and content management systems.
